1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of memphisseries.com and the purchase and use of tickets for Memphis Series events operated in Budapest, Hungary by Memphis Series (“we”, “us”, “our”). By completing a purchase on our website (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • Ticket: An electronic admission credential (PDF or Wallet pass) with a unique QR code generated by Tickera and validated via Checkinera at the venue.
  • Event: The show/exhibition/party or related activity for which the Ticket is issued.
  • Buyer/You: The person who places the order and whose details appear on the order confirmation.

3. Scope & Contract Formation

  1. Tickets are sold via WooCommerce with Tickera on our Site. Your contract is concluded when payment is successfully authorized/confirmed by our payment processor and you receive an order confirmation.
  2. All Tickets are issued as digital e-tickets. No physical delivery is provided.

4. Eligibility & Account

  1. You must be legally capable of entering into a contract and meet any Event-specific age restrictions (see the Event page). Venue reserves the right to request a valid government ID.
  2. Information you provide must be accurate and complete, including attendee first name, last name and email for ticket delivery.

5. Prices, Fees & Taxes

  1. Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout (typically HUF) and include/exclude taxes as indicated on the checkout page. Any booking or payment processing fees are shown before you pay.
  2. Promotions/discounts apply only if stated and cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. Payments

  1. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
  2. Payment methods may include cards and express options (e.g., Apple Pay/Google Pay). Orders may be declined or refunded if fraud screening or other checks fail.

7. Delivery of E-Tickets

  1. After successful payment, tickets are sent via email to the Buyer (and/or attendees) with a PDF containing a unique QR code. Check spam/junk if you do not see the email.
  2. If you do not receive your ticket within a reasonable time, contact info@memphisseries.com with your Order ID.
  3. For security, each QR code admits one entry only. Our check-in system (Checkinera) blocks duplicates.

8. Admission & Venue Rules

  1. Bring your e-ticket (on phone or printed) and, if requested, a matching ID. Admission is subject to venue capacity, security screening, and compliance with house rules.
  2. Entry may be refused or you may be ejected for health/safety reasons, intoxication, aggressive behavior, possession of prohibited items, or breach of these Terms; no refund will be due in such cases.
  3. Age policy varies by Event (e.g., 18+). See the Event page for the specific requirement.
  4. Re-entry is at the venue’s discretion and may be prohibited.
  5. We aim to support accessibility needs. Please contact us in advance for reasonable accommodations.

9. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

  1. No right of withdrawal (cooling-off) for dated Events: As these are leisure services for a specific date/period, the statutory 14-day withdrawal right does not apply.
  2. If an Event is cancelled, we will offer a refund of the ticket price you paid (excluding any non-recoverable third-party fees) or, where offered, an exchange to a new date.
  3. If an Event is rescheduled, your ticket is valid for the new date; if you cannot attend, you may request a refund within the announced window.
  4. Line-up and running-order are subject to change; such changes alone do not entitle you to a refund.
  5. Approved refunds will invalidate the ticket in our system and on Checkinera.

10. Ticket Transfer, Name Changes & Resale

  1. Unless the Event page states otherwise, tickets are personal but may be transferred to another attendee before the specified cut-off. Contact support with Order ID and new attendee details.
  2. Unauthorised resale, duplication, or tampering with tickets/QR codes is prohibited and may result in invalidation without refund.

11. Acceptable Conduct & Safety

  1. We operate zero-tolerance policies for harassment, violence, hate speech, and illegal substances.
  2. We may implement crowd-management and health/safety measures (e.g., bag checks) per law and best practice.

12. Intellectual Property, Photography & Recordings

  1. All Site content (logos, artwork, text, media) is protected by intellectual property laws and may not be used without permission.
  2. Unauthorised professional audio/video recording may be prohibited by the venue/artist. Personal photography is typically permitted unless stated otherwise.
  3. By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in crowd images or recordings used to document or promote Events. If you have concerns, contact us.

13. Liability

  1. We are not liable for minor changes to programme, line-up, or running order, or for personal property lost or damaged at the venue, except where required by law.
  2. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud/fraudulent misrepresentation.

14. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., extreme weather, public authority actions, strikes, power outages, pandemics). Where feasible, we will reschedule or refund as set out above.

15. Privacy & Cookies

Your personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. You can change your consent choices at any time via the Manage cookies link.

16. Customer Service & Complaints

For support or complaints, contact info@memphisseries.com with your Order ID. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA, you may benefit from mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Courts of Budapest (competent under Hungarian law) shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory venue rights you have as a consumer.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services or legal requirements. The version date appears at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
